Implementation of Staff Regulation 82 concerning the grant of two increments on promotion in FCI- Intervention of Comrade K. Radhakrishnan, Hon’ble Member of Parliament

It brings me immense pleasure to share an important update regarding the implementation of Staff Regulation 82 concerning the grant of two increments on promotion in FCI.The Central Committee of FCI Employees Association (CITU) recently approached Comrade K. Radhakrishnan, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, seeking his intervention in this crucial matter. Responding positively to our request, the Hon’ble MP took up the issue with Shri Pralhad Joshi, the Hon’ble Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.We are delighted to inform you that the Hon’ble MP has officially communicated with the Minister through a letter dated 31.12.2024, strongly urging the implementation of Staff Regulation 82. This decisive step underscores the significance of our collective efforts and the commitment of our Association to safeguard and enhance employee rights and benefits.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Comrade K. Radhakrishnan MP for his solidarity with our cause and for championing the rights of FCI employees. We also thank all employees for their continued trust in the Association's efforts. The Association will closely follow up on this matter and keep all members informed of further developments. Together, we will strive to ensure that justice is delivered, and the long-awaited benefit of two increments on promotion is implemented without further delay.
