EMPLOYEES PROTEST AGAINST INHUMAN BEHAVIOR OF FCI MANAGEMENT

Comrades, all you well aware that FCI employees have put their tremendous efforts into ensuring an uninterrupted supply of food grains especially during lock down period of this COVID pandemic. Honorable union ministers, all most all state ministers, and medias also appreciated the hard work of FCI employees. But, now the FCI management instead of appreciating the efforts of FCI employees, came with inhuman, and illegal, disciplinary actions in the name of operational losses, which was happened while carrying out such heavy work in the lock down period. Further, it also informs you that many applications seeking appointments under compassionate quota is still pending with FCI Management. Another important issue is that the employees who worked tirelessly 24*7 in lock down period not received payment towards their over time claims. Because of such inhuman, repeat inhuman attitudes of FCI management, we decided to express our protest. As a token of protest, we issued a protest notice to CMD and decided to hold a peaceful protest meeting on 31-3-2021 at Kerala. Considering the intensity of movement and the Deputy labour commissioner has intervened in this issue, and issued notice to CMD of FCI Head Quarters for conciliation meeting, which is scheduled on 30-3-21. However, we decided to move forward with our protest without any prejudice and till any developments on our chartered genuine demands. We appeal before the entire working class, to come forward to express solidarity with this trade union movement. Your support is our strength, and our strength is for your welfare. Red salute comrades..

Comradely yours
