Pay fixation as per Regulation 82 on Promotion- Important update

Dear comrades, It has come to our attention that while fixing pay on promotions, one increment, constituting 3% of basic pay on the capacity of Assistant Grade III, AGII, or AG I, has been allowed in the time scale of pay. However, the next higher stage/increment in the time scale of pay of the promoted posts has not been fixed, which is in violation of Staff Regulation 82.

We are pleased to inform you that this matter has been taken up with FCI HQrs in light of various court judgments. The management has responded positively. A copy of their reply is enclosed for reference. However, to ensure that every promoted employee receives their rightful benefits, it is crucial that each one of you gives representation at the earliest.Let's stand united to ensure that the rightful benefits are extended to each and every one of us.
Yours fraternally

INTRODUCE PLB OR ENHANCE PLI - GS FCI EA CITU

PLI payment structure is based on a multiplication factor determined by the achieved productivity range. Actually employees are eligible for PLI Payments as a percentage of Basic Pay have seen a steady increase from 44.50% to 67.27% from 2019-20 to 2022-23. However, it is observed that the PLI remains at 2%, which appears to be relatively low, especially considering the significant enhancement in productivity. Significant win for ex service men to avail FCI Medical Facilities

 Dear comrades,

We are pleased to share a significant achievement in our ongoing efforts to protect the rights and benefits of Ex-servicemen within FCI. Your collective voice and unwavering support have led to a positive outcome.

As many of you are aware, there was a circular, Circular no EP-12-2022-11 dated 10.05.2022, which required Ex-servicemen to surrender their ECHS cards and submit an affidavit stating that they would not avail medical facilities from ECHS during their service period with FCI. We believe that this condition was arbitrary and against the principles of natural justice.

We submitted our strong protest against the implementation of this circular. Our collective efforts paid off, and we are happy to announce that the FCI Management has taken our concerns into account. As a result, they have decided to withdraw the condition mentioned in the Circular no EP-12-2022-11 dated 10-5-22.

This is a significant win for our Ex-servicemen members as it ensures that you can continue to avail benefits from both the ECHS and FCI's contributory health scheme. The right to access medical benefits under both schemes is now preserved.

We extend our gratitude to all of you who supported this cause and made our collective voice heard.

Yours fraternally
