#Kerala’ the First state in India given priority #Covid #Vaccination for Food Corporation of India(#FCI) field staff. It is important to mention that Despite of Vaccine shortages across the country, Kerala State-procured 3.5 lakh vaccine stocks directly in first phase. And Shri Pinarayi Vijayan Honourable Chief Minister of Kerala directed concern authorities to give these vaccine on priority basis to the field staffs of #Food #Corporation of India.

The Central Committee of FCI Employees Association (CITU) expresses heartfelt grief at the demise of Shri Sathish Selvaraj, DGM (G), Rakesh Kumar AGM (Accounts), Sumanta Manager (General), Rakhi Banerjee, Manager (RTI). They left us after battling with Covid 19. FCI Employees Association pays its respectful homage and conveys heartfelt condolences to their bereaved family. vaccination to FCI employees, labours, Canteen employees and lorry workers.

The General Secretary of FCI Employees Association in its letter informed the Prime Minister of India that the situation is tough during the second wave especially in the workplaces of Food Corporation of India, therefore  requested the central government to consider inoculation of FCI Employees, Workers, canteen employees, contract workers, lorry drivers as a priority as they closely interact with the general public daily. Necessary directions and vaccine may kindly arrange to supply to all state governments at the earliest.
