(14-1-25)The Central Committee of the FCI Employees Association (CITU) extends its heartfelt gratitude to Comrade A. A. Rahim, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), for his timely intervention regarding the non-implementation of Staff Regulation 82, which mandates the provision of two increments upon promotion. Recognizing the critical importance of this issue affecting the morale and welfare of FCI employees, the Association approached Comrade A. A. Rahim with an urgent appeal for action. He graciously acknowledged our concerns and promptly took up the matter with the Hon’ble Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Shri Pralhad Joshi. The issue of Regulation 82 is vital to ensuring fair compensation and recognition for the hard work and dedication of FCI employees. The Association urges the Ministry to resolve this matter swiftly and favorably, ensuring justice and rightful benefits for all affected staff.
