FCI Employees Association demands immediate recruitment against the existing vacancies in Category III & Category IV posts across the Corporation.

Today, the General Secretary of the FCI Employees Association (CITU) has submitted a representation before the Chairman & Managing Director of Food Corporation of India demanding immediate #recruitment against the existing vacancies in Category III & Category IV posts across the Corporation.

The Association highlighted the serious shortage of manpower in various offices and depots and pointed out that around 10000 vacancies are presently awaiting recruitment. The letter emphasized that the last major recruitment for Category III posts was conducted in 2022 and for Category IV posts in 2017, after which no adequate recruitment has taken place despite increasing retirements and operational requirements.
Simultaneously, the Association has requested the intervention of Shri Dr. V. Sivadasan MP, Shri K. Radhakrishnan MP , and Shri John Brittas MP to take up this important matter with Shri Pralhad Joshi, Hon’ble Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.
The Association strongly demands that recruitment notifications may be issued at the earliest in the interest of efficient functioning of FCI and to provide employment opportunities to thousands of deserving job aspirants waiting for FCI recruitment. #fci #fcijob #fcivacancy #fciexam #Fcirecruitment
