(19-06-25) Dear comrades, The #FCI Employees Association (CITU) has officially submitted a representation to the #Chairman, Food Corporation of India, urging immediate withdrawal of the unilaterally imposed regional operational loss targets for FY 2025–26. We have strongly objected to the unscientific and arbitrary fixation of these targets without field-level consultation or consideration of on-ground challenges such as poor quality of gunnies, inadequate weighing practices, manpower shortages, and flawed JV procedures. We have demanded that target-setting be done transparently, based on realistic field conditions. Until then, no punitive measures or unrealistic pressures should be imposed on employees.
