We sincerely appreciate the proactive efforts taken by the Regional Committee Kerala of the Food Corporation of India Employees Association, in submitting a detailed representation to the management regarding the timely renewal of hospital empanelment and recommending the inclusion of new hospitals. Your concern for ensuring uninterrupted and improved medical facilities for our employees and their families truly reflects your commitment to their welfare. We assure you that the matter will be given due consideration, keeping in mind the health, security, and well-being of our workforce, which remains our top priority.

 

The Food Corporation of India Employees Association (CITU) expresses its heartfelt congratulations to all FCI EMPLOYEES on the approval of reimbursement of monthly mobile data bills and mobile data communication devices (dongle, Wi-Fi hotspot, etc.) for Category–II and Category–III employees.

This achievement is the result of sustained efforts, collective representation, and continuous follow-up by employees’ unions and associations at various levels. We sincerely congratulate all EMPLOYEES, union office bearers, including our sister unions who took up this issue with FCI Headquarters management and worked unitedly to secure this benefit. At the same time, we strongly express our concern over the non-approval of the same benefit to Category–IV employees. Denial of this facility to one section of employees amounts to clear discrimination. In the present working environment, mobile data connectivity is equally essential for Category–IV employees in discharging their duties efficiently.

The Association firmly reiterates that benefits related to official communication and work facilitation must be extended uniformly to all categories of EMPLOYEES without discrimination.

We, therefore, demand that the management immediately reconsider its decision and sanction the reimbursement benefit to Category–IV employees as well.
