Dear comrades, The FCI Employees Association (CITU) has officially submitted a request to the C&MD of FCI, Smt. Vanita Rattan Sharma, IRS, requesting the resumption and enhancement of training sessions for Category III employees at premier institutions like the Institute of Food Security (IFS) Gurgaon, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), and the National Institute of Plant Health Management (NIPHM) Hyderabad. The letter emphasizes the importance of equipping employees with updated skills in areas such as food security, quality management systems (QMS), automated grain analyzers, eOffice, and HRMS to meet evolving challenges and technological advancements. We await a favorable response from the FCI management and remain committed to ensuring equal training opportunities for all employees.

Comrades, FCI Employees Association (CITU) Demanded that the benefits of the Employee Funded Contributory Social Security Scheme be extended to cover the unfortunate cases of employees who passed away due to COVID-19 while in FCI service.

Homage to the veteran FCI Trade Union leader Comrade M. R Radhakrishnan

FCI Employees Association (CITU) pays homage to the veteran FCI Trade Union leader Comrade M. R Radhakrishnan ( Manager (Depot) FCI Angamaly Retired)who passed away on 09-11-24 at Angamaly at his age of 70 years due to Cardiac arrest and conveys its condolences to his family members and all comrades. He was a strong member of FCI Employees Association and he registered his strong participation in all struggles and fights for FCI and its employees. The FCI EA CITU dips its banner in respect of departed comrade M.R Radhakrishnan. Funeral is scheduled on 12-11-24 at 10.00 am in Kidangoor, Angamaly.
